In addition, it was determined that our facilities needed to be made handicapped accessible. An architect was hired to evaluate our facilities and prepare two projected cost estimates. Projected Cost $2.6 million to renovate old buildings $2.8 million to raze school and rectory, and build new buildings. With cost estimates this close, it was advisable to build new, energy-efficient buildings making better use of the space, rather than renovating existing buildings.
